PUTTING FEET TO OUR PRAYER

The Upper Room House of Worship Inc.

The Upper Room House of Worship Inc., is a Not-For-Profit Organization, founded in 1998 by Pastor Teresa A. Darden as she’s also the founder of the Rockland County Jail Outreach Ministries Inc. in 1996.

The Upper Room House of Worship Inc. was established to minister to the Whole-Man. Physically, Mentally, and Spiritually.

Since that time the Upper Room House of Worship has put prayer into action, by reaching out to our community and the surrounding Rockland Area with one goal and mission in mind, to continue to minister to the Whole-Man.

As Chaplain of the Rockland County Correctional Facility. After seeing a need, Pastor Darden would give Holiday Food Baskets to the family of those incarcerated and toys for their children.

After sometime, this would include reaching out to other needy families in the community and the Rockland area.

To date, the Upper Room House of Worship Food Bank, is a proud member and partner of the Hudson Valley Regional Good Bank with the mission of feeding the Hungry. The Upper Room House of Worship Food Bank distributes over 24,000 pounds of food a month, to needy families throughout Rockland.
